Websites for trades and outdoor businesses.
A site that shows your real jobs, says which towns you cover and makes asking for a quote take one tap. You own it outright, and I build it myself.
- Payment
- A deposit to start and the balance on completion, before the site goes live.
- Timeline
- Most builds take 2 to 4 weeks from the first call, depending on content and page count.
- Ownership
- Code, content and domain are yours from the day it launches.
- Hosting
- Free for as long as you want it. No subscription to keep it online.
A homeowner gets your name from a neighbour and looks you up on their phone that evening. Within a minute they have seen your real work, checked that you cover their town and sent you a message about the job, without having to ring first.
What a homeowner checks before they call.
People hire a trade they can see. Real jobs do more than any slogan.
Is this a real business?
Real photos of real jobs, who you are and how long you have been doing it. Nothing from a stock library.
Do you do my kind of job?
A page for each service, so someone who wants a fence does not have to wade through decking to find out.
Do you cover my town?
The towns you work in, named on the page and on your Google profile.
How do I get a quote?
One tap to call or message you, with the message already started.
Can I trust you?
Your Google reviews shown honestly, the way they are written, once you have them.
How long does it take?
A straight answer on how quotes and jobs work, so a customer knows what happens next.
Built around how a job is actually won.
What the customer sees
- One page per service, each with real photos of your own work
- The towns you cover, named properly
- Call and WhatsApp in one tap, and a quote sheet that starts the message for them
- Guides that answer the questions customers really ask before they hire
What helps you get found
- On-page search setup: titles, descriptions, a sitemap and local wording
- Your Google Business Profile set up to match the site
- Fast on a phone, tested at a small phone width before launch
- Everything in accounts that belong to you
Not included at this price: ongoing SEO, ads or photography. The site is yours either way, and those are optional extras I price separately. I do not promise Google rankings, because nobody honestly can.
Banwell Homes
My dad’s carpentry, decking and fencing business in Betty’s Bay. He paid an agency every month and had no website under his own name. Now he has one he owns.
- Domain in his name
- Photos of real jobs
- Call or WhatsApp in one tap

Ashley Banwell Gardens
My mum’s landscaping and garden care business in Betty’s Bay. Search her name before this and the first result was a listing on someone else’s site. Now she has a site of her own, live since 21 October 2026.
- Domain in her name
- Real photos of her jobs
- Call or WhatsApp in one tap

Who these are.
- Family
Both are my parents’ businesses
I say so up front. They are the trades work I can show in full, and I would rather be clear about that than let you assume otherwise.
Three steps, one person.
A real conversation
One call, usually 30 to 45 minutes. What is working, where enquiries leak, and what a good result looks like for you.
Design and build
I design and build it myself. You see drafts as it comes together and tell me what to change.
Launch
The site goes live, connected to the booking or quote route you want, with everything in accounts that belong to you.

hello@alastairbanwell.comHow much does a website cost?
A standard single location site starts at $650, paid as a deposit and a balance on completion. Larger scopes are quoted individually. Here is how I think about the number.
Will it help me get found on Google?
I set up the on-page basics: titles, descriptions, a sitemap and wording for the towns you serve, and I connect your Google Business Profile. I do not promise rankings, because nobody can. Monthly SEO is optional, and the site is yours either way.
Can customers send photos of the job?
The quote sheet opens WhatsApp with the message already started, so they can add photos and details there, the way they would message a friend.
What if I do not have many photos?
Send what you have. I would rather use a few real photos than stock ones, and after your next job I can add it to the site.
Who owns the site?
You do, from the day it launches. The code, the content and the domain are in your name, and I never hold your domain.
How long does it take?
Most builds take 2 to 4 weeks from the first call. It depends on how quickly you can send content and feedback.
What if I need changes later?
Send me the change. I quote it up front so you always know the number before I start. There is no retainer required and no minimum. If you would rather never think about it, the website updates plan covers it.
